‘Nav-Rang’ Eddie Sequeira book release on Aug. 31

Mangaluru: Eddie Sequeira, a senior artist, award-winning Konkani playwright, actor, director, and compere will be releasing his book ‘Nav-Rang’, a collection of his well-known plays and captivating talks on Konkani dramas that have enthralled audiences over the years, on 31st August, 2024, at 6.00pm at St. Aloysius College, Sahodhaya Hall.

Rev. Dr. Praveen Martis SJ, Vice Chancellor, St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), will release the book, in the presence of guests Mr Stephen Pinto, Advisor, Michael D’Souza Trust, and Mr H M Pernal, Editor, Kittall.com.

The book is published by St Aloysius Prakashan, headed by Prof. Dr. Vidya Vinuta D’Souza with the grant from the Michael D’Souza-Vision Konkani Programme under the aegis of the World Konkani Centre, Mangalore.

On this occasion Eddie will be presenting his book with an insight into his journey as an actor and playwright and will be acting/reading excerpts of some of the scenes from the plays in the book. Mrs Zeena D’Souza a gifted stage actor, will be joining him on stage.

The book is priced at Rs. 200 with an early bird discount for purchases made at the venue.
