Mount Carmel Cubs and Bulbuls triumph in the Geeth Gayana Competition
Mangaluru: The Cubs and Bulbuls, Scouts, and Guides of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, participated in the Geeth Gayana Competition held on August 19, 2024, at Bharat Scouts and Guides Bhavan. The Mangalore City North Association organized the patriotic/folk song singing competition.
The Cubs and Bulbuls showcased a splendid performance, with the Cubs captivating the audience with their spirited rendition of Kannada patriotic songs. Their melody and skill earned them first place, advancing them to the district-level event to be held in Moodbidri. The Bulbuls impressed the audience with their outstanding performance, securing a commendable 2nd place. The Scouts and Guides also participated in the competition, presenting a medley of Hindi patriotic songs. The entire team’s effort exemplified the values of unity, patriotism, and love for the country.
