Mount Carmel Central School students outshine in the AICS Events
Mangaluru: The students of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, demonstrated exceptional talent. In the recent AICS (Association of ICSE and CBSE Schools) events. In the “Sahityotsam” literary competitions held for the AICS D.K. schools at SDM School, Mangaluru, on August 10, 2024, Ciel Merlyn Montheiro, Neha Andrea Castelino, Jinelle Juanna Pinto, Faye Anne Pais, and Deona Anjeline Tauro bagged the coveted 1st place in the Grammar Groove competition, impressing everyone with their self-composed and tuned grammar song, and Pavani N K secured the 2nd place in Kavi Sambrama.
The school’s athletes also showcased outstanding performances in the AICS Cross Country Race for D.K. district schools organized by Jnana Ganga Central School, Bellare, Sullia, on August 17, 2024. Jesnia Correa clinched 1st place in the U-14 girls’ category for the 3rd consecutive year, a remarkable achievement indeed. Aldrich Shawn DSouza secured 5th place in the U-14 boys’ category, while in the U-17 boys’ category, Johan Gladson bagged 3rd place and Shreyas R won 6th place.
