Monthi feast celebrated at St Raphael Church Badyar with joy and devotion

Badyar: Monthi feast celebrated at St Raphael Church Badyar with joy and devotion. Celebration began at 7.30am with the blessing of New Corn on school grounds. Parish priest Fr Roshan Crasta conducted the prayer service, followed by the offering of flowers to infant Mary and profession.

Eucharistic celebration began at 8 a.m. Fr Roshan Crasta was the main celebrant. Fr George Crasta concelebrated the mass. The parish community who supported actively for the feast were felicitated with a blessed candle.

The parish website was launched on the same occasion by Fr Roshan Crasta. After the mass, sugar cane and sweets were distributed to the people. An auction was held for gifts and offerings presented during the mass. A large number of parishioners actively participated in the feastal celebration.
