MCC Bank, Moodbidri Branch holds Customer meet
Moodbidri_ On the occasion of the Post Centenary Decennial celebration of the bank, Customer Meet of M.C.C. Bank Ltd, Moodbidri Branch, was organized at Corpus Christhi Church hall on Sunday September 04 at 5.30pm.
The Customer Meet presided over by the Chairman of the Bank Anil Lobo.
The meet was inaugurated by Rev. Fr Onil Dsouza, Parish Priest of Corpus Christhi Church, Moodbidri, Mangaluru. K.P. Sucharitha Shetty, Chairman, KMF, Mangaluru, Jerald Jude Dsilva, Vice Chairman, MCC Bank Ltd., Valerian Sequeira, President Block Congress Moodbidri, Joylus Dsouza, Ex-President Christian Development Board, were the guests of honor.
Rev. Fr Onil Dsouza, in his inaugural speech, congratulated the Chairman, management and staff of the bank for the completion 110 years’ of selfless service to the society. He said that there is transparency in the customer service. The leadership of the Chairman has brought all the customers together and if this relationship is maintained by both customer as well as bank will witness immense growth. Let this customer meet solve all your problems if any faced.
K P Sucharitha Shetty said that the path led through 110 years by the bank has progressed well. The Christian Community has not only come up with only educational institutions but also in Banking Sector. Bank has served the customer without any discrimination. He wished all the best for the Banks future endeavours.
Valerian Sequeira said that if a community has to come up there is a need of arrangement of funds. The Bank will not progress only if the customers keep deposits in the bank there is also need of Loans for the bank. If we go to the bank to ask for a loan the half of the work in respect of the loan is done by the Branch Manager.
Joylus Dsouza said that M.C.C. Bank helps the community to come up in financial strategies. This bank in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi District is progressing very well. Let the Bank progress well in future and render good service for the betterment of the society.
Jerald Jude Dsilva said that the Bank is giving good service since 110 years. In the Past 4 years the Management has grown very well and brought many products and also there is transparency in the work of the bank.
On this occasion the customers who celebrate their birthdays in the month of September were honoured. The Senior Citizen customers were congratulated and honoured with shawl and flower bouquet.
As a part of customer meet, open session was held to give suggestions, opinion and tell their grievance. Customers actively took part in this interactive session and gave their valuable suggestions.
Chairman Anil Lobo, in his Presidential speech, clarified the reasons for conducting the Customer Meet in all the branches on the occasion of the post Centenary Decennial celebration of the bank. He said that there is very well growth in the Moodbidri Branch with Deposit growth from 12 crores in 2018 to 22 crores in 2022 and advances from 4 crores to 12 crores. Bank provides Locker facility with lowest rent. The Service rendered is 99% more than the Nationalised Banks. There is lowest rate for Educational Loan in our Bank. The main intension of the customer meet is to know the problems of the customers and raise their issues. He explained that the bank has earned a Net profit of Rs. 8.27 Crore with a Net NPA of 1.60%. He congratulated the Branch Managers and staff members for taking initiative and success of the customer meet.
Directors J. P. Rodrigues, Harold Monteiro, Irene Rebello, Dr Freed Dsouza, Professional Director Sushanth Saldanha, Board of Management members, Alwyn P Monteiro and Felix DCruz, General Manager Sunil Menezes among others were present.

Employees of Moodbidri branch, Sharon Rosario, Shamin Mendis, Ullas Menezes and Joseph Felix were actively associated in holding the meet. More than 200 customers of the branch were actively participated in the customer meet.
