Mangaluru: ICYM Madanthyar unit Madanthyar Builds a temporary mud barrier to a stream

Mangaluru: ICYM Madanthyar unit in collaboration with St.Joseph Ward had organised a Shramadhan to Build a temporary mud barrier to a stream that passes through Sonadoor in Kolpadabail village, Madanthyar On Dec 30.
The aim of constructing the barrier was to store the water to help the agriculturists residing besides the river in case of water scarcity in summer season.
ICYM members along with villagers organised this water saving work which would help the villagers in their agricultural work and for their daily routine. .Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Stany Pinto was present for the work and about 20 members participated in this work.
