Mangaluru: CODP organizes cleanliness drive in Mulki

Mangaluru: CODP organized cleanliness campaign under the aegis of Unnati Mahasangha at Mulki church premises on February 09.

Mrs Lydia Furtado, President of Unnati Mahasangha welcomed the gathering

Fr Sylvester D Costa Parish Priest of Mulki in his inaugural speech stressed on the need for cleanliness and warned of adverse effects and problems when plastic mixes with mud and possibilities of cancer when it enters human bodies.

Mr Raymond Rebello, Member of Christa Jyothi SHG said that cleanliness should be maintained both outside and inside our houses. He also said that we should learn that culture and teach it to children.

Mr Ravi Kumar Crasta and Mrs Rita D’ Souza Co-ordinator of CODP, Mrs Kalagirish and Mrs Pushpaveni, Animator of CODP were present on the program.

Mrs Prameela D Souza, Secretary of Unnati Mahasangha proposed the vote of thanks.
