Lourdes Central School Reopens for the Academic Year 2025–26
Mangaluru: The school reopening day assembly was held on June 2, 2025, as an indoor programme. The prayer session was led by Mr. Roshan and his team, followed by readings from the holy books — the Bible, Bhagavad Gita, and the Quran.
Rev. Fr. Johnson L. Sequeira, Principal, delivered the welcome address, greeting esteemed guests including Father Manager Rev. Dr. John Baptist Saldana, Vice Principal Ms. Anitha Thomas, academic coordinators, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students.
The reopening session was inaugurated by the Father Manager, Principal, and Vice Principal with the theme “LCS Expressions Alive – 2025.” Ten themes for the year were introduced by teachers holding placards.


























The annual school magazine, Lourdite (2024–25), was released by the dignitaries — Father Manager, Principal, Vice Principal, Assistant Editor Ms. Anitha Meneses, and Technical Support Ms. Mary D’Souza.
Father Manager Rev. Dr. John Baptist Saldana congratulated the Class 10 and 12 students for their excellent board exam results. He also expressed his appreciation for the retired staff and their dedicated service. He wished the students success in the academic year 2025–26 and emphasized the importance of discipline, punctuality, completing notes on time, loving one another, and maintaining hygiene.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Anitha Thomas, Vice Principal. The convener of the programme was Ms. Deepa D’Souza.
