Lourdes Central School celebrates ‘LCS Hindi Week 2024’
Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School celebrated Hindi Week from 2nd September to 6th September 2024, bringing together students of classes 1 to 10 for various literary activities and competitions to promote language proficiency and showcase their abilities in Hindi.
Class 1 and 2 students participated in poetry recitation activities, while classes 3 to 5 participated in story-telling competitions. Classes 6 and 8 had group activity in poetry writing and class 7 in mono acting. To encourage creative writing and original thinking, classes 9 and 10 had Hindi article writing activities.
On September 14th, Hindi Diwas was celebrated, marking the 75th anniversary of adopting Hindi as the official language of India. LCS also celebrated the day with a ‘Nukkad Natak’ presented by Class 9 students, portraying the significance of Hindi.
The week concluded with an award ceremony, where the winners of the competitions were honoured for their achievements.
