Lourdes Central School, Bejai, Mangaluru, holds the investiture ceremony for kindergarten

Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School, Kindergarten Section, held the investiture ceremony of Bunny Movement on Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the AV room at 9.00 a. m. Keeping in mind to create love for nature, love towards God, and to help and love each other every day was the objective of starting this activity by the school.
The programme was graced by our principal, Rev. Fr Johnson L. Sequeira, and vice principal, Ms Belita Mascarenhas. The programme began by invoking God’s blessings by saying the Universal Prayer and singing a prayer song, “It’s a great day.” The Bunny Movement was inaugurated by unwrapping a handmade bunny prepared by Ma’am Neumsha and wrapped in an attractive box by our principal and chief guest. The chief guest for this occasion was Ms Sufala B.
In her address, she spoke about the meaning of the Bunny Movement and explained its aims and objectives. She also showed different types of smiles, which the little ones enjoyed. Ma’am Prema highlighted the significance of the Bunny Movement. Ma”am Linette Pereira helped in taking the oath, “I shall try to be a good girl or boy.”.
Fr Principal, in his address, appreciated the teachers and students for the discipline and training of the students. He reminded children to follow the values that were explained by the chief guest.
Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas, along with Fr Principal and the chief guest, opened the bundle of aprons and scrap books. Every child was put in a bunny apron, which gave the little ones great feelings. At the end, a group photo of all the bunnies, along with the guest, principal, and staff, was taken.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ma’am Jenifer Menezes, who also compered the whole programme.
