‘Konkan Maina’ Meena Rebimbus Honored with ‘Millennium Maina’ Title
Mangalore: “It is commendable that Leo Ranipura has won the hearts of many through his singing while never forgetting his mother tongue and serving society through music,” said Rev. Fr. Dominic Vas, the Parish Priest of Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi.
He was speaking as the president of the Musical Dhamaka 99 Concert event, organized by Leo Charitable Trust (R.) at the Sandesha Kala Kendra auditorium in Bajjodi, Mangalore.
On this occasion, internationally renowned singer Konkan Maina Meena Rebimbus was honored with the ‘Millennium Maina’ title in recognition of her immense contributions to the music industry, where she has composed and sung thousands of songs, winning the hearts of millions.



































































The event was graced by Joseph Elias Menezes, Director of Fortune Life Wealth Pvt. Ltd., Delhi, and owner of PTI Consultants, Bombay; Rons Bantwal, President of the Karnataka Journalists’ Association, Maharashtra; John Wilson Lobo, Managing Director of Sukta Media Network; and Francis Fernandes Cassia, a renowned Konkani playwright, director, actor, and comedy king.
Leo Ranipura, Trustee and Founder of Leo Charitable Trust, was present along with Co-Director Stanley Bantwal, Joint Secretary Alwyn Prashant, Treasurer Roshan Crasta, Trustee Mabel D’Cunha, and others.
Secretary Liston D’Souza welcomed the gathering, while Raviraj D’Souza delivered the vote of thanks. The event was hosted by Roshan Crasta and Preetham, followed by a musical performance by about ten talented artists.
