Kannada Rajyotsava celebrated at Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady
Belthangady: The state festival Kannada Rajyotsava was rightfully celebrated at Holy Redeemer English Medium School on November 1st. The proud Kannadigas of the school gave all respect to the state. Students of Kannada Club organised the program under the guidance of teachers Pallavi and Sumithra.
Correspondent Very Rev. Fr Walter DMello and PTA Vice President Mr Ramesh were the guests.
Student Prajna of class 9 welcomed the gathering. School Pupil Leader Vaishnavi, with due respect, invited the correspondent to hoist the flag. Meanwhile, the school choir sang the National anthem followed by State anthem, which added to the sense of patriotism. Arvin Bennis of class 8 narrated the history of the momentous day of Karnataka.














The correspondent addressed the students about the need for speaking Kannada and upholding the dignity of the state. Manvi of class 8 proposed the vote of thanks. The program concluded by serving refreshments.
Also, the school dance troupe performed a wonderful dance during the Taluk-level Kannada Rajyotsava celebration held at Mini Vidhana Sauda, Belthangady.
