Investiture Ceremony and Clubs Inauguration held at Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady
Belthangady: The investiture ceremony of the school cabinet of Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady, was held on July 3rd. The investiture of School Cabinet Members and the inauguration of various school clubs, sqauds and activities for the academic year was in a grandure.
The programme began by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer dance and lighting the lamp. Correspondent V. Rev. Fr Walter D’Mello presided over the programme and motivated all School Leaders to carry out their responsibilities faithfully. Chief guest Rev. Fr Anil Avild Lobo, Parish Priest of St Francis Assisi Church, Nainad, inaugurated the school clubs, squads, and activities innovatively. Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto administered the Oath to the members of the school cabinet.
The aims and objectives of the clubs, namely English Club, Kannada Club, Hindi Club, Eco Club, and Science Club, and school squads, namely Blue Bunnies, Green Teens, Red Robins, and Yellow Bees, are very symbolically represented by the respective leaders.
School Cabinet Members and other leaders were honoured with badges and sashes. Trainers of school activities like Dance, Karate, Music, singing, and Art and Craft were felicitated. Students Sonia Bennis of Class 7 welcomed the gathering, and Safeeda of Class 9 delivered the vote of thanks. Teacher Renita Lasrado compered the programme.
