Indira Hospital Celebrates 25 Years of Exemplary Service

Mangaluru: Indira Hospital marked its 25th anniversary with a grand celebration at the Father Muller Kannennan Center on Thursday. Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao graced the occasion as the chief guest, showering praise on the hospital for its outstanding achievements.

Dinesh Gundu Rao emphasized that the true essence of an institution lies not in its physical structure but in the dedicated individuals who contribute to its mission. He lauded Indira Hospital for its unwavering commitment to both medical excellence and compassionate patient care. The minister acknowledged the hospital’s significant contribution to the community, elevating Mangalore’s healthcare landscape to new heights.

The government, while actively working to enhance public healthcare facilities, recognizes the invaluable role played by private hospitals like Indira in meeting the community’s healthcare needs. Dinesh Gundu Rao expressed his admiration for the hospital’s administration and staff for their dedication to building such a remarkable institution.

Assembly Speaker U.T. Khadar, a chief guest at the event, commended Indira Hospital for gaining the trust of the community through its unwavering commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services. He expressed confidence in the hospital’s continued success and its ability to reach new milestones.

Another chief guest, MP K. Brijesh Chowta, praised the hospital’s tradition of recognizing and honoring its employees, setting an exemplary standard for other institutions to follow.

The hospital honored several dedicated doctors and staff members for their long and meritorious service, including Dr. Thangan Varghese, Dr. Mahmad Ismail, Dr. Muneer Ahmed, Dr. Jamila, Dr. Vijayagopal, Dr. Krishna Prasad, and numerous others who have contributed significantly to the hospital’s success.

Legislative Council Member Ivan Dsouza, Vice-Chancellor of Yenepoya University Dr. Abdullah Kumar, and lawyer Syed Reranuddin were also present as chief guests.
