Holy Redeemer English Medium School Belthangady hosts Taluk level science model exhibition
Belthangady: A Taluk-level science model exhibition was held in Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady, on September 13 in collaboration with the school education and literacy department, block education office, and cluster resource center, Belthangady.
Innovative and exceptional science models by the high school students were exhibited.
Holy Redeemer School represented 9 models under the guidance of science teachers Preetha D’Souza and Mary Suja.
A model-making competition was held in individual and group categories. Over 18 schools participated, with 21 models in the individual category and 47 models in the group category.
The exhibition began with an inaugural ceremony. Block education officer Mrs Tarakesari, BRCC Mr Mohal Kumar, Science subject forum president of Belthangady Taluk Mr Radhakrishnan, President of High School Teachers Karnataka State Council Mr Niranjan Jain, Education coordinator Mr Siddalinga Swamy, and Holy Redeemer School Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto were present.
Holy Redeemer School students invoked God’s blessings through a prayer song. By lighting the lamp, the exhibition was inaugurated. Host science teacher Mrs Preetha D’Souza compered the program, and teacher Anitha welcomed the gathering.
In the valedictory ceremony, in the presence of the same guests, prizes were distributed. Mrs Prathima proposed the vote of thanks. The program concluded with refreshments.
