Guest lecture on Intellectual self-defense held at St Agnes College (Autonomous)
Mangaluru: The Department of Physical Education of St Agnes College (Autonomous) organised a Guest lecture on “Intellectual self defense” on 7 May 2022. Mrs Reena Ranjith, 3rd Dan Black Belt, karate and self-defense Instructor, was the resource person.
Self-defense has become an indispensable \ skill in the modern world. The main objective of this guest lecture was to empower students with the art of self-defense and build strength and courage to face challenging situation.
Mrs Reena Ranjith explained the importance of self-defense and the need to be very intelligent and cautious in one’s daily life. She demonstrated various self-defense techniques through top karate students from the Institute of Karate and allied Arts. Through a meaningful interaction she clarified various doubts and answered all the queries that audience put forth.
Mrs Vasudha, Physical Education Director co-ordinated this event and the students of 1st year degree were the beneficiaries of this guest lecture.
