Fr Paul D’Souza from the Diocese of Shimoga is no more

Shimoga: The Diocese of Shimoga lost another priest, Rev. Fr Paul D’Souza (51). He hails from St. Peter’s Church, Gonibeedu, Chikmagalur. 

Fr Paul D’Souz has been suffering from liver-related issues for the last few years. Yesterday, August 3rd, he breathed his last at Fr. Muller’s Hospital in Mangalore at 9:40 p.m. 

He was born on December 10, 1972, and was ordained priest for the Diocese of Shimoga on May 4, 2004. He served as Assistant Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shivamogga; Parish Priest of St. Anthony’s Church, Sharavathinagar, Shivamogga; and Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church and Manger and Corresspondent of Assumption School, Hiriyur. 

His funeral ceremony will be on August 6th, Tuesday, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shivamogga, at 10:30 a.m.
