“Feast Day Celebration” at St. Agnes High School, Mangaluru

Mangaluru: On Saturday, January 20th, St. Agnes High School celebrated the feast of its alma mater. The students of class 8B conducted, pleasingly, a meaningful program in honour of the young martyr Saint Agnes. The whole program highlighted the purity and sacrifice of St. Agnes. The program began with a solemn prayer service, focusing her patronage on children, youth, maidens, gardeners, and girl guides. The prayer service filled the air with spiritual fervor.

An alluring and flawless dance was staged for the empowered woman, a befitting tribute to the amazing women who are the real architects of our society.

A captivating skit of St. Agnes life and martyrdom was enacted by the students. The skit conveyed the very essence of her unwavering faith in God in her short yet inspiring journey.

A buoyant zumba dance enthralled the gathering with a message of fitness and de-stress during examination time.

The chief guest, Mrs. Lavina Aranha, remembered with gratitude her memories associated with St. Agnes from KG till her graduation. She even emphasized the significant virtues of truth and honesty and their connection with school values. The endowment prizes and scholarship winners were honored by the chief guest.

The Headmistress Sr. Gloria A.C., congratulated the students of class 8B for their active participation and vibrant performances. She also commended the class teacher, Mrs. Preema Frank, for her diligent planning and meticulous execution of the whole program.

A sweet-toned group song was sung by the whole class honouring the patron saint, which was a harmonious blend of musical talent and teamwork.

The program was smartly compered by Ritu Jean Lobo and Snehal Miranda. Thrisha welcomed the gathering, and Varnika proposed the vote of thanks.
