Mangaluru: The annual sports festival was held under the joint auspices of Rosa Mystica Pre-university College and Rosa Mystica High School Kinnikambla.

Mendonca performed the flag-raising ceremony for the Sports meet. In her presidential address, “Let your sporting spirit and talent shine through school and college level sports events. Whether you win or lose, do not stop your efforts and move forward on the path of achievement. May you shine in the state, national and world level games”, she said. The president of the program received the guard of honour during the March past.

Fr. Sibi, the director of  Sneha Sadan Charitable Trust inaugurated the sports meet. In his inaugural address he said that sports inspire the unity of all irrespective of caste, creed and religion. He wished everyone to be aware of the spirit of sports. Mr. Lancy Sequeira, Director of Physical Education, who inspired excellence in school sports, was felicitated on the occasion.

The students of Rosa Mystica pre- University College performed an excellent dance under the guidance of lecturer Ms. Avita Melisha Lobo. The headmistress of the Rosa Mystica kannada medium high school Sr. Dr. Lolita Pereira welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Ida Pereira and Mrs. Sujatha Sanil compered the programme. Mr. Avil Renil D’Silva expressed the gratitude towards success of the programme.
