CODP ® Mangaluru promoted Sneha Mahasangha, Fajir celebrates Nativity Feast
Mangaluru: CODP ® Mangaluru promoted Sneha Mahasangha Fajir jointly organized the feast of Nativity of Virgin Mary on 16th September 2021. Rev. Fr Vincent DSouza, Director of CODP offered Holy mass and preached Mother Mary is our role model of life.
After the mass, stage program was held in Fajir Church hall. The program was presided over by Rev. Fr Anil Joyal DSouza, Parish Priest of Fajir Church. In his presidential speech, he encouraged the Self Help Group (SHGs) members to avail various government schemes which would cause development in their life.
Chief Guest Rev. Fr Vincent DSouza said that if there is co-operation, unity and sharing attitude among SHG members, then any work will be successful. Therefore team spirit is very important he mentioned.
Mrs Mary Fernandes, President of Fajir Grama Panchayath gave the information about MGNREGA Schemes.
On this occasion certificates was distributed to the members who had attended the tailoring course organized by CODP.
Mother Mary’s Birthday was celebrated, followed by fellowship meals prepared by the SHG members by using organic vegitables.
Sneha Mahasangha President Mrs. Lavina Danthi Welcomed the gathering, Vice President Mr. Barnard proposed vote of thanks. SHG member Mr. Anil Lobo compered the program.
CODP Coordinator Mrs Rita DSouza and Animator Mrs Gulabi Monteiro were present for the program.
