Club Inauguration held at Holy Redeemer English Medium School
Belthangady: ‘Club shapes and molds the young minds to dive into the world of exploration, creativity, and innovation’
To bring this significance into action, the Club Inauguration of Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady, was held on July 10th in the school auditorium.
The program was presided over by Correspondent Very Rev. Fr Walter D’Mello, and Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Simon Pinto was present.
The members of the school clubs, that is, the Eco Club, English Club, Hindi Club, Kannada Club, Math Club, Science Club, Scout Guides, and Cubs Bulbuls, actively took part in the entire program.
The event began by invoking God’s blessings through a graceful prayer dance by members of the Kannada Club and Scout Guides.
Sonal D’Souza of the English Club wholeheartedly welcomed the gathering.
Clubs were symbolically inaugurated by the guests, accompanied by the club coordinators, Mrs Mary Suja and Mrs Shrilatha.
The leaders of various clubs walked forward, holding their respective club symbols. The aims and objectives were beautifully articulated by the club leaders.
The cultural program by all clubs lined up gave a vibrant start to the club activities.
At first, Eco Club members performed a dance drama with a message to save the environment. Followed by English club members who depicted the usage of English words and phrases through a dance.
Kannada club members visualized the typical village ambience through a dance drama.
Hindi club members, through a dance drama, highlighted the significance of education. Math club members danced to the tunes of tables and shapes. Science club members depicted the evolution of inventions.
Scout guides showcased patriotism, love, and service to society.
The correspondent, in his address, encouraged the students to actively take part in the club activities and develop a competitive spirit.
The headmaster apprised of the benefits and need for having school clubs.
Mohammad Shahal of the Hindi club proposed the vote of thanks. Safa Ahmed, Rahul, Sana Mariyam, and Raksha of the Science Club compered the program.
The program was concluded by singing the school anthem.
