Christmas celebration at Holy Redeemer School, Belthangady

Belthangady: Holy Redeemer English Medium School had a Christmas celebration on December 23rd in the school auditorium. Correspondent Very Rev. Fr Walter D’Mello and Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto were present.

The celebration began by singing the Carol ‘Gloria’ to invoke God’s blessings. The significance of various symbols of Christmas was symbolically narrated. A skit was played that told the story and the real meaning and way of celebrating Christmas. Dances to Christmas songs entertained the gathering. Carols sung by the school choir elated the Christmas vibes.

The joy of Christmas was increased by cutting the cake and distributing it to all the students. In his message, the correspondent gave insights to students on how to be good, do good, and enjoy sharing among friends. The headmaster presented a Christmas cake to all staff.

Students Nushaifa welcomed the gathering, Zaifa proposed the vote of thanks, and Arvin Bennis and Jason Correa compered the programme.

Students of class 7 conducted the celebration under the guidance of teachers Renita Lasrado and Lorna Lobo.
