Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R.) holds Felicitation Program for Catholic Christian Media persons
Mangaluru: Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R.) organized a gathering and felicitation of Catholic Christian mediapersons on October 22, 2023, on Sunday evening at the ‘Sambhrama’ Hall, Saint Anthony Ashram, Jeppu, Mangaluru.
Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp along with other dignitaries. Mr. Alvin D’Souza, President of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R.), presided over the program. V. Rev. Dr. J.B. Saldanha, Spiritual Director of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R.), and V. Rev. Fr J.B. Crasta, Director of the Saint Anthony Ashram, Jeppu, were the chief guests. Daiji World Media Pvt. Ltd. founder Mr. Walter Nandalike, Karnataka Journalists Association, Maharashtra-President Mr. Rons Bantwal, Mr. Roshan Bonifas Martis, editor and publisher of the Karavali Suddhi weekly, Mrs. Vilma Montero, Central Secretary of the Catholic Sabha, and Mr. Paul Rolphy DCosta, the moderator of the program, were the guests of honor for the program.





































Catholic Christians working in TV and print media as founders, editors, and reporters were honoured with shawls, flowers, fruits, and mementos. The guests gave their message and cheered on the media friends. Convenor Rolphy D’Costa gave the introduction and welcomed the gathering. President Alwyn D’Souza said that the Catholic Sabha is always with the media friends. The secretary rendered a vote of thanks. The program was compered by Norbert Misquith and Lavina Gretta D’Souza. A buffet lunch was organized at the end of the event.
Eminent personalities, including KPSC committee member Mr. Ronald Fernandes, Secretary of Mangalore Diocese pastoral committee Mr. John D’Silva, president of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh Santhosh Cornelio, chairman of MCC Bank Anil Lobo, editor of Raakno Konkani weekly Fr Rupesh Madtha, and others, were present.
