Career and Life in Armed Forces organized in St Agnes College
Mangaluru: The National Cadet Corps of St Agnes College (Autonomous) organized a session on Career and Life in the armed forces, which was held on 14 February 2025.
Air Force Veterans Group Captain Daniel Victor, recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal, and Wing Commander Arijit Ghosh, Penguin author of Air Warriors and Renji cricketer, were the resource speakers and were escorted by the NCC cadets.
The session began with a prayer song and then was followed by an address from the resource speaker, Captain Daniel Victor, who shared his experience and narrated a motivational story on tomatoes, in which he said youngsters should start taking the right advice; they need to be different like a tomato, which never seeks validation but always proves its worth, he said every challenge in life needs to be embraced.
Wing Cdr. Arijit Ghosh inspired the cadets by sharing inputs on SSB and his life experience in defense. He said service in the armed forces will help in living a dignified life and help in understanding the human value to gain confidence and respect in life.
