Ambassador John Richmond and Harold D’Souza to host an inspiring conversation on trafficking during pandemic
U.S.A.: President of Eyes Open International (EOI) Harold Henry D’Souza is hosting a mega event on September 18,2020 Friday at 6:30 p.m. in India, a healing conversation with Ambassador John Cotton Richmond, Ambassador-at-Large from Washington D.C.
“Ambassador John Cotton Richmond believes in preaching andpracticing on 7 P’s of human trafficking. They are prevention, protection, prosecution, partnership, pulse, pain, and power. Ambassador Richmond knows the pulse, pain, and power of victims, survivors, and vulnerable population globally. This is what differentiates Ambassador John Richmond’s unique personality in empowering survivors to be thrivers globally” spoke survivor Harold D’Souza.
Ambassador Richmond comes to the highest position in the federal government dedicated to combating human trafficking, after a distinguished career in the global battle for freedom. He co-founded the Human Trafficking Institute that exists to decimate modern slavery at its source by empowering police and prosecutors to use victim-centered and trauma-informed methods to hold traffickers accountable and ensure survivors are treated with respect and care.
Life has come a full circle for Harold D’Souza a native of Bajpe, Mangalore. From being a near slave in Lady Liberty’s land, is now the President of Eyes Open International a non-profit organization based in U.S.A. focused to open branches in 50 Countries by 2021.
This innocent man from India is an inspiration worldwide on turning obstacles into opportunities in his real-life struggles from fear to freedom. Honorable Harold D’Souza was appointed by President Barack Obama on the United States Advisory Council on Human Trafficking in 2015 and continued his services with President Donald Trump till 2020.
