A Start-up named STRAECON India LLP inaugurated at SJEC
Mangaluru: The inaugural ceremony of STRAECON Phase-II, hosted by STRAECON India LLP, was held at St. Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) in Mangalore. The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries and was inaugurated by Sri. Vivek Alva, Mentor & Managing Trustee, Alva’s Education Foundation.
Chief guests of the program were Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, Director, SJEC; Rev. Fr Kenneth Rayner Crasta, Assistant Director, SJEC; Dr. Rio D’Souza, Principal, SJEC; and Mr Ram Prasad from the STRAECON team, who was also present on the occasion.
The inaugural ceremony marked a significant milestone in STRAECON India LLP’s journey and emphasized their vision of “Coordinate, Create, Construct.” The event also underscored the strong partnership between academia and industry, with a special focus on fostering innovation and growth in the construction and engineering sectors. The event was compered by Ms. Ramya, Assistant Professor, who welcomed the gathering.
Addressing the gathering, Vivek Alva remarked, “In the initial stages, we sought inputs from the faculty of SJEC to establish a standard institution. Today, SJEC stands tall among engineering colleges due to its discipline and the grooming it provides. Founder Akash Shetty may appear young, but his vision is far-reaching. Colleges are places that strengthen you. Opportunities like this are invaluable, and students should make the most of them.”
Rev. Fr. Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, Director-SJEC, added, “This is an opportunity for students to go beyond traditional learning, providing hands-on experience to enhance their skills and knowledge.”
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Akash Shetty, Founder of STRAECON, seeking support and blessings from the attendees. He also insisted the attendees connect with the STRAECON team for future collaborations and updates.
