A public lecture on “Bhakti and the Culture of Indian Modernity” to be organized at St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru
Mangaluru: The Faculty of Arts, St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, is organizing a Public Lecture on “Bhakti and the Culture of Indian Modernity” on 13th March 2023 at 3 pm in L F Rasquinha Hall, LCRI Block of the College.
This is public lecture is arranged in honour of the late Dr Norbert DSouza, former Director of Admin Block.
Dr Rinku Lamba, Associate Professor, Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru will be guest speaker. Prof. Valerian Rodrigues, Former Professor at the Centre for Political Studies, JNU, New Delhi will moderate the Session. Rev. Dr Praveen Martis, SJ, Principal will preside over the program.
Dr Roseveera DSouza, Dean of Arts Faculty will be convenor and Dr Priya Shetty, HoD of UG & PG Departments of Economics will coordinate the programme. Dr Alwyn D’Sa, Controller of Exainations, SAC and Coordinator for UGC STRIDE Project and Dr Charles V. Furtado, Director of Admin Block will be present for the programme.
