200th Monthly Free Psychiatric Medical Camp held at Shankerpura

Udupi: Rotary Club and Rotary Trust Shankerpura created a record by organising the 200th Monthly Free Psychiatric Medical Camp at Rotary Bhavan on Sunday, 1st November 2020.

The occasion was marked by the solemn inaugural function at 10.30AM that was attended by distinguished guests, Rotarians and the people who benefitted from the camp.

The 200th Camp was formally inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Ronald Fernandes, Parish Priest, St. Louis Church, Dahisar, Mumbai by lighting the lamp.

Rtn. Antony D’Sa in his introductory address traced the origin and progress of the camp.

Dr. P. V. Bhandary and Dr.Shrinivasa Bhat Undaru were felicitated by Chief Guest Shri. Padmanabha Bhat for their dedicated free service for the noble cause.

Rtn. Ananthram Bhat who has been responsible for starting the camp, Rtn. Antony D’Sa, Rtn. Edward Mendonca and Rtn. Valerian Noronha who supported since its inception were recognized.

Donors, Nurses and Pharmacist were presented with memento for their support and free voluntary service.

President Rtn. Victor Martis Welcomed the guests, Club Secretary Rtn. Jerome Rodrigues proposed the vote of thanks. Programme was compeered by Rtn. Anil D’Sa.
