Young Author and Orator Reshel Fernandes to be Honoured with National Icon Award at Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, New Delhi

Mangaluru: Ms. Reshel Bretny Fernandes, a young and dynamic author and orator from Mangaluru, is set to be honoured with the prestigious National Icon Award 2025 – Season 9 in recognition of her remarkable achievements at the international, national, and regional levels.

Known for her eloquence and literary contributions, Ms. Fernandes has authored four impactful books that address pressing issues in contemporary society. Her works have garnered praise from various quarters, including prominent leaders, and have even reached the offices of the Prime Minister, President of India, and Speaker of the Lok Sabha, among others.

In recognition of her contributions, the Bhartiya Yuva Welfare Association, New Delhi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism (Jammu & Kashmir), the Ministry of Defence, and other government departments, has selected Ms. Fernandes for this honour.

The award ceremony will take place on July 10, 2025, at the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, New Delhi, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries including:

Sri Ramanath Thakur, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India
Sri Jagdambika Pal, Former Minister and Chairman of the Joint Parliamentary Committee
Sri Ramdas Athawale, Minister of State, Government of India
