‘YENERGY 2020’, A GLOBAL TEACHERS’ DAY EVENT
Mangaluru: The Yenepoya School organized ‘YENERGY 2020’, an Online Event, open to teachers and lecturers worldwide on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
The event honoured and celebrated the unseen COVID warriors and unsung heroes, the maestros for uninterrupted learning during this global pandemic – Teachers.
There were various competitions held like ‘Sing is King’, for all the singers, ‘Entertainmental’, for all those who wanted to display any variety of talent, ‘Your Lockdown Recipe’, a cooking show, ‘Online Class Vase’, where the participants were allowed to narrate or enact incidents from their Online Classes and ‘Happy Feet’, for all dancers.
Sanchia Rebello, Faculty, Department of English, The Yenepoya School participated in the Category ‘Your Lockdown Recipe’ and won the first place for her culinary skills.
There were a lot of other Participants from the teaching fraternity, who also participated actively and enthusiastically.
