Webinar on ‘The Legacy of India’s Struggle for Indian Independence’ organized at St. Agnes College (Autonomous)

Mangaluru: The NSS Unit of St. Agnes college (Autonomous) organized an online webinar for the first year NSS volunteers “The legacy of India’s struggle for Indian independence on 14th August 2021 .

The program began at 4.00 pm with an introduction by Ms. Merin, MC and anchor of the program. The program was initiated by a welcome speech by NSS program officer Mrs.Meera. The resource person for the session was Dr. Savithri .K, retired professor of History , Besant women’s college, Mangalore.

Dr. Savitri, during her address, emphasized on the duties of the students and the youth in general towards nation building. She also highlighted the sacrifices of various freedom fighters who had struggled for the independence of India. The session made the students realize their role in making our country a developed and leading nation in the world.
