The Journey of yet another set of Kindergarten Graduates celebrated at Mount Carmel Central School
Mangaluru: Children are our national asset. Mount Carmel Central School proudly conferred the graduation title to yet another set of the Kindergarten graduates from UKG C and D. It was indeed a spectacular day where an event like graduation was celebrated with pomp and pride because children from all walks of life along with their proud parents and grandparents celebrated this great day for themselves, for the school and our society at large. There was a spontaneous standing ovation from the audience as the smart kindergarten graduates marched into the venue along with their facilitators, the Guests of honour Dr Santhosh Kumar and Dr Shwetha, Principal Sr Melissa and Administrator Sr Carissima. The ambience was filled with an aura of jubilation. The Almighty was praised and glorified for the marvel of life in every child and for having sustained this life against all odds.
Teacher Sandra accorded a gracious welcome and introduced the guests of honour Dr Santhosh Kumar, MS, Dept of Surgical Gastroenterology, K.S. Hegde Medical College and Dr Shwetha, MBBS, Anaesthetist, SCS Hospital, Mangaluru. The welcome was extended with music and movement by the students of LKG. Conferring the title and administering the pledge was certainly the privilege of the Principal which was solemnly conducted by her along with mixed emotions of joy, gratitude and good wishes. In her message she applauded the parents for their trust and contribution in the process of forming a good human being in their child.
It was overwhelming to hear words of gratitude delivered by the little graduates, Christina, Dwani and Prashasth, reminiscences of their early formative days in the Kindergarten. The cultural programme by the LKG students added colour to the event. The guest of honour Dr Santhosh Kumar in his convocation address congratulated the tiny graduates and gave a few parental tips to the parents. He also touched upon a sensitive issue to help a child face failure and challenges even at an early stage of life. He was marvelled on hearing the memories so well articulated by the little graduates and graciously acknowledged the effort of the teachers and the management.
Teacher Joyce and Teacher Flossy compeered the programme. Teacher Neetha delivered the vote of thanks.
