St. Philomena College conducts an orientation programme for postgraduate students
Puttur, January 17: An Orientation Programme for Postgraduate Students, Centre for PG Studies & Research, St Philomena College, Puttur, was held at the College’s PG Seminar Hall under the auspices of the PG Student Welfare Committee. Rev. Dr. Antony Prakash Monteiro, principal of the college, presided over the programme and said that the students should focus mainly on their attitude, personality, and language and be able to incorporate mental, physical, and spiritual perspectives meaningfully. He further stated that students should concentrate on training their heart, brain, and body through involvement in curricula, co-curriculars, and extracurricular activities.
The programme started with a prayer led by Shriraga, Arpitha, and the group. The programme was compeered by Ms. Pruthvi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce.Prof. Ganesh Bhat, vice principal of the college, was present during the occasion.
Mrs. Shreeraksha and Mrs. Prathibha K, assistant professors in the departments of commerce and social work, greeted the guests.Mr. Sheetal Kumar K. V., coordinator of the PG Student Welfare Committee, proposed a vote of thanks.
