St Philomena College (Autonomous) Announces II Semester Results

Puttur, 25 June 2025: Demonstrating exceptional efficiency and academic commitment, St Philomena College (Autonomous), Puttur, officially declared the results of its Undergraduate II Semester examinations today—just one hour after the conclusion of the final practical exam. This unprecedented feat underscores the institution’s robust administrative system and dedication to timely academic processes.

The II Semester undergraduate examinations were held during the first two weeks of June, followed by practical examinations for all batches. Remarkably, the final batch of practical exams concluded at 4:00 p.m. today, and the complete results were published by 5:00 p.m.—setting a new benchmark in academic administration.

The results highlighted several outstanding academic performances across various streams:

Fatimath Mizhna secured the top position in B.A. with 93.64%

Apoorva D. topped the B.Com stream with 92.77%

Chandana T. emerged as the B.Sc. topper with an impressive 96.71%

In the BBA programme, Vaishma M. P. led with 89.23%

K. H. Trisha topped BCA with 87.23%

In the BCA (AI & ML) programme, Shehenaz secured the highest score with 93.08%

Principal Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro commended the entire college staff for their discipline, dedication, and seamless coordination. “Everyone who contributed to the swift publication of the results deserves appreciation. This achievement was made possible due to the structured commitment of the Examination Section under the leadership of Dr Vinayachandra, Controller of Examinations, and Assistant Controllers Capt. Johnson David Sequeira and Mr Abhishek Suvarna,” he stated. He also congratulated the meritorious students and expressed hope that their achievements would inspire their peers to strive for excellence.

Commenting on the record-setting announcement, Dr Vinayachandra, Controller of Examinations, said, “It is indeed a matter of pride that we were able to publish the II Semester results in record time. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all those who supported the processes of coding and evaluation within such a tight timeframe. I am grateful to our Principal and the college management for their guidance and support throughout.”
