St. Agnes College to host ‘Knowledge Factory’ in line with Ted talks

Mangaluru: St. Agnes college is hosting ‘Knowledge Factory’ in line with Ted talks. It has been organised over the years at various places by a team from Delhi, headed by Mr. Amith Prabhu. In view of the College Centenary, it will be hosted at St. Agnes College.

8 to 12 renowned speakers from fields like sports, Cinema, etc., will address on various topics. The programme is on Friday, 10 January, Friday, 9.30 to 5.30 p.m. Besides, a quiz will be conducted on history (from global to local history) in 2 rounds. The prize is: Rs. 30,000 – overall winning team, and Rs.20,000 for runner up. Two make a team and the team may consist of any combination of staff, students, parent, outsider of your choice. Both the participants should have a donor pass each.

The hard copy donor pass for the programme is Rs.200 for students which is without food and Rs.500 for others with food. Donor passes online cost Rs.1,000/- but will be given at a 50% discount till December 31st. There will be a lucky draw on both denomination and the prize is a gadget, costing around Rs.25,000/- each.
