St Agnes College holds Students Valedictory Programme for the Final Year Students

Mangaluru: St Agnes College (Autonomous) Mangaluru held its Annual Valedictory Programme for the final Year degree students on 31 August 2021. The programme began with invoking God’s blessings through a prayer service. Scriptures from the Holy Bible, BhagavatGeetha and Quran were read which added real meaning to the programme. The cabinet members were present for the programme and rest of the final year students watched the programme online through YouTube platform.

The Principal Sr Dr M. Venissa A.C. led the final year students in oath taking ceremony and cabinet members handed over the college crest and the college flag to the principal as a symbol of the completion of their academic responsibilities and the Principal in turn handed it over to one of the representatives of second year batch.

The Principal in her address congratulated the outgoing batch for completing one more chapter of life despite of the challenges of the pandemic and said that the moments spent at St Agnes College for the past three years will be cherished by them forever. She encouraged the students to continue to be a part of this institution and strengthen the bond with the Alma mater. An Agnesian has always been an achiever and wished them all success in their future endeavours and called them to live up to the college motto God is my strength, throughout their life’s journey.

The Registrar Mr Charles Pais and the Administrator Sr M. Carmel Rita A.C. awarded the best outgoing students of UG and PG. The cabinet members were felicitated by the Principal for their committed service to the college.

The junior students entertained the gathering with fun filled performances which recalled the college days and brought down the memories from the past three years.

Ms. Sarah Monis of I Year M.A shared her experience with the seniors highlighting their contributions and the learning experience they received from them.


Ms Preethi, UG Student President and Ms. Neha, PG Student President recalled the memories of their student life, the companionship and the various extracurricular activities, the support and guidance of the teaching and non-teaching staff and expressed their gratitude to all.

Sr Dr M. Vinora A.C, PG Coordinator and Sr Roopa Rodrigues the Vice Principal were present for the programme.

Ms Rhea Sequeira welcomed the gathering; Ms. Duha proposed the vote of thanks and Ms Kripa Compered the programme. The Department of Business Administration coordinated the programme.
