Republic Day celebrated at Holy Redeemer English Medium School
Belthangady: 76th Republic day was celebrated with the essence of patriotism at Holy Redeemer English Medium School on January 26th.
The program began by singing the national song, Vande Mataram. Rishel D’Souza of class 8 welcomed the gathering.
Br Aldrick D’Souza of the Carmelite order of Ashadeep Seminary, Madanthyar, was the chief guest. Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto and PTA Vice President Mr Ramesh were present.













School pupil leader Vaishnavi invited the guest to hoist the national flag while everyone saluted the tricolor flag by singing the national anthem.
Sanju of class 8 narrated the importance of Republic Day. Assistant School Pupil Leader Alston DSilva orated the pledge, showcasing the essence of the celebration.
The chief guest addressed the students, giving insights on the need of following rules and regulations prescribed.
Rishel D’Souza of class 8 compered the program.
Students were trained by teachers Shrilatha, Anitha, and Lorna Lobo. The program concluded by distributing sweets.
The school dance troupe performed a beautiful patriotic dance in the Taluk Republic Day celebration held at the Taluk office of Belthangady Taluk.
