“Ragtacho Dudu” – A Konkni Play by Fr Ronald Serrao was staged at Jeppu Church Grounds

Mangaluru: On the eve of the feast day of St Joseph the Patron of Mangalore Diocese and the Jeppu Parish the parishioners enacted a play “Ragtacho Dudu”, Written by Rev Fr Ronald Serrao the Rector of St Joseph Inter-diocesan Seminary Jeppu directed by Mrs Clita Noronha and coordinated by Mr Olwin Miranda the Vice President of Jeppu Parish. “What Happened to Judas after his death?” Was the man question of the play.

The program started by invoking God’s blessings with a prayer song followed by releasing of books “Sathachi Mahima” written by Fr Ronnie Serrao, which includes three well-known Konkani plays, those were enacted in Jeppu parish previous years,  and “Vinsnaar mottvyo kaaniyo” by Mr Eddie Netto released by Bishop Emeritus Rev Aloysius Paul D’Souza. 

The well-wishers and benefactors were honoured by the parish priest Fr Maxim D’Souza. Mr Bernard D’Souza, the proprietor of Grace Ice Cream parlour refreshed everyone with ice-creams.
