PTA Meeting held at Rosa Mystica PU College Kinnikambala.
Mangaluru: The PTA annual general meeting of Rosa Mystica PU College Kinnikambala was held on July 11, 2023, at the college auditorium at 2.15 p.m.
The Meeting began with invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song, and then students performed a rhythmic welcome, which gave an energetic Start to the day.
Sr Sadhana B.S., the principal of Rosa Mystica PU College, welcomed the gathering, briefed the parents about the rules and regulations of the institution, and gave a call for positive involvement in their child’s upbringing.
Sr Leera Maria B. S., Local Manager, along with all other guests on the dais, inaugurated the meeting by lighting the Lamp.
Ms. Shilpa Rai and Ms. Sujatha Sanil presented the detailed and informative annual report of 2022–2023. PTA Vice President of 2022–23, Mr. Vinayak Karanth, handed over the Books of accounts to the newly elected PTA Vice President, Mr. Mohammed Hassan. Mr. Hassan officially took over as vice president for the academic year 2023–24. The newly appointed PTA executive committee for the academic year 2023-2024 was falicitated for their initiative and presented flowers as a token of respect and gratitude.
Sr Leera Maria, the local manager, addressed the gathering. In her speech, she emphasised that students must learn to build patience in life, and she also said Meditation and prayers will help the students develop their personalities.
Mr. Viran Veiges, who is currently serving as a lecturer at Alvas College in Moodbidre was a resource person for the Meeting. Mr. Viran briefed the audience on the key aspects of using technology. He also emphasised the importance of parents being strict with their children’s behaviour. Parents should have time constraints. He also said in his speech that the timetable for each activity will help the students reduce their stressful lives.
Mr. Vinayak Karanth, former PTA Vice President, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity received to be a part of institutional activities.
Sr Grace Monica, Correspondent of our institution, in her presidential speech highlighted the moral values that are to be followed by the students, and she appreciated the parents for their large number at the gathering.
A vote of thanks was proposed by Ms Bharati B. S. Ms Deepa Anchan compered the programme, which concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
