New Leadership Takes Charge at Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) for 2025–26
Mangaluru, May 12, 2025 — The Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) has elected its new Central Executive Committee for the year 2025–26, marking a fresh chapter of dedicated service and dynamic leadership within the organization. The central elections were held on May 11, with enthusiastic participation from parish representatives across the region.
Mr. Santosh Dsouza from Bajpe has been elected as the new President. A seasoned community leader with years of experience in public service, he is expected to bring renewed energy and vision to the Sabha. Joining him in leadership are:
- Mr. Lawrence D’Souza (Surathkal) – First Vice President
- Mr. Leo Rodrigues (Madanthyar) – Second Vice President
- Ms. Vilma Monteiro (Derebail) – General Secretary
- Mr. Alwyn Rodrigues (Alangar) – Assistant Secretary
- Mr. Francis Monteiro (Talapady) – Treasurer
- Ms. Laveena Gretta D’Souza (Ranipura) – Assistant Treasurer
The new executive team takes over from Mr. Alwyn Dsouza (Panir), the Immediate Past President, under whose leadership the Sabha experienced significant growth and active involvement in community initiatives.
