MCC Bank’s Outreach Initiatives: Distribution of Notebooks, School Bags, and Umbrellas
Mangaluru | June 2025: In a strong demonstration of its commitment to social responsibility and community welfare, MCC Bank Ltd. has undertaken a series of impactful outreach initiatives during June 2025. These programs, aimed at supporting the underprivileged, were led by Chairman Sahakara Ratna Mr Anil Lobo along with the Board of Directors.
As part of the initiative, notebooks, school bags, and umbrellas were distributed to economically disadvantaged students across various schools and institutions in Mangaluru, Udupi, and neighboring regions. The beneficiaries included:
- St Antony Primary School, Padukone
- Stella Maris High School, Gangolli
- St Mary’s School, Kundapura
- St Joseph Primary and High School, Kundapura
- Nirmala High School, Brahmavara
- Cosmopolitan Higher Primary School, Brahmavara
- Kulur High School, Mangaluru
- St Anjela Home, Bejai
- De Mercede Orphanage, Paneer
- St Ignatius Loyola School, Paladka
- St Rita Higher Primary School, Jeppu
- Ladyhill Higher Primary School, Urwa
- Mai De Deus Higher Primary School, Puttur
In addition, umbrellas were distributed to the inmates of St Antony Ashram, Jeppu, providing much-needed relief during the monsoon season.















The heads of the institutions expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Chairman Mr Anil Lobo and the Board of Directors for their generous contribution and concern for underprivileged students and community members.
These thoughtful efforts, costing over ₹10 lakhs, reflect MCC Bank’s core values of compassion, inclusivity, and service. More than providing material support, the initiatives aimed to inspire students to persevere in their education and to grow into responsible, empathetic citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Mr Anil Lobo encouraged students to remember the Bank’s support as they advance in life. He urged them to develop empathy and social responsibility, and stressed the importance of equality in education and believing in oneself. He also appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and praised the institutions for their dedication to holistic education.
