Mangaluru: Thanks giving mass held at Valencia Church
Mangaluru: As people bid Goodbye to 2019, the people of Valencia Parish gathered to give thanks to the Lord for all the Blessings they received throughout the year and prayed for the coming year 2020.
Adoration began at 6.30pm.The adoration was led by Fr Arun Lobo resident priest
Thanksgiving mass began at 7.30pm.The main celebrant was Fr James D’Souza Parish Priest.
Meaningful homily was preached by Asst PP Fr Joswin D’Souza.The theme of the homily was “Mary mother of God, Intercedes for us”.
Newly elected parish council Vice President David Pais and Secretary Rita Menezes along with the other newly elected council members took oath.
Fr Joswin D’Souza,Fr Arun Lobo ,Fr Anil Alfred were the Co-celebrants.
After the thanks giving mass housie-housie and auction were conducted, dance was performed by the YCS unit.
