Mangalore: Vocation Day held at Sacred Heart Church, Madyanthar

Mangalore: Vocation day was held, on 30th of April to commemorate and rejoice at the Sacred Heart Parish, Madyanthyar. 

Most Rev. Dr William D’Souza SJ, Archbishop of Patna presided over the Holy Eucharist, concelebrated by hundreds of prelists and religious. 











It’s a moment of joy and celebration, for the manifold blessings showered of the families who offered their daughters and sons to work in the vineyard of the lord. Today all over the nation and to the ends of world, the off springs of this parish serves the poorest of the poor, being the missionaries of the Gospel. 






















It was a feast to the eyes, to witness hundreds of religious gathered under the mantle of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus giving glory to the might God for blessing them in His mission of love. The celebration was followed by a sumptuous dinner prepared and served for the whole gathering. 

Sacred Heart Parish,Madanthyar, has produced more than 120 priests and nuns over these 125 years.
