Mangalore: Community Day celebrated at Angelore Parish

Mangalore: Guardian Angels Church, Angelore celebrated the community day with a mesmerizing exhibition of talents on Sunday the 3rd February 2019. 

The program commenced with a welcome note by Mr. Roshan Patrao the vice president of the Parish Pastoral council. The members of 21 wards participated in various items and brought out the unity in diversity of our nation through melodious songs and skits, which expressed the rich heritage of Konkani culture. The comedy plays thrilled the audience. The religious sisters of all 4 convents came to the stage to sing a chorus praising the unity of the parish community. 

Parish Priest Rev Fr William Menezes addressing the parishioners said that it is a wonderful day because parishioners not only exhibited their talents, but also brought forth unity in their wards.  Parish Priest welcomed the chief guest of the day Mr Vedavyas Kamath, the MLA of Mangalore South and placed before him the need of road widening which would be useful for all the citizens of the vicinity. Mr Vedavyas Kamath expressed his joy over the participation in the events even by the senior citizens. He promised that he would see to the broadening of the road that leads to the church and the temple. 

The secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council Ms. Dora Rodrigues proposed the vote of thanks.
