Lourdes Central School holds Parent–Teacher Interactive Sessions (Classes I to XII
Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School conducted Parent–Teacher Interactive Sessions for all classes (I to XII) during June 2025. Held at various venues across the campus, the sessions brought together parents, teachers, and school leaders in a shared endeavour to support student growth and development.
Each session began with a prayer song led by students, followed by teacher introductions and presentations on the curriculum. The Principal, Rev. Fr Johnson L Sequeira, addressed the gatherings, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in ensuring holistic student development.
A key highlight across all sessions was the introduction of the upgraded school app, demonstrated in detail by Mr Shobhit. Parents were encouraged to use it actively for updates and tracking student progress. They were also introduced to the newly appointed Academic Coordinators—Ms Lynette Pereira, Ms Shanthi Menezes, Ms Sunitha K, and Ms Deepa Dsouza—and the Vice Principal, Ms Anita Thomas. The school reiterated its focus on strengthening communication and feedback loops between educators and families.

The school’s continued investment in student welfare and infrastructure was evident in initiatives such as the thoughtfully designed daycare programme, the forward-looking Innovative Lab that nurtures experiential learning, and the recently refurbished, spacious computer lab—all contributing to a progressive, student-centered learning environment. Elections for the PTEC (Parent–Teacher Executive Committee) were also conducted during the sessions, further fostering partnership between school and home.
