Little Bunnies Hop into Action: Investiture Ceremony of the Bunny Movement at LCS

Mangaluru: With the inspiring message of love for God, nature, and one another, Lourdes Central School Kindergarten section held the Investiture Ceremony of the Bunny Movement on 21st June 2025 in the LCS Conference Hall at 9:30 AM.

The main objective of this programme was to instill love for God, appreciation of nature, and the spirit of helping each other with compassion and empathy.

The event began with the Universal Prayer, followed by a prayer song invoking God’s blessings. The programme was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr Johnson L. Sequeira, Principal of Lourdes Central School, and Ms Revathi Shet, the Chief Guest.

Ma’am Kavya, the compere, welcomed everyone with a warm smile, setting a cheerful tone for the event.

Ma’am Prema shared the significance of the Bunny Movement, highlighting its values and objectives. The inaugural ceremony brought joy and excitement to the faces of the little bunnies with a magical touch—“Abra ka dabra… magic, magic, magic!”—followed by the oath-taking ceremony.

Fr Principal and the Chief Guest then ceremoniously handed over the bunny aprons to the newly admitted students of KG1 and KG2. The little ones were visibly delighted and excited to receive their aprons.

Ma’am Revathi engaged the children with action songs, which the young bunnies enjoyed thoroughly, adding fun and energy to the morning.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by a photo session to capture the joyful memories.

It was a delightful sight to see the little bunnies hopping into action, marking the beginning of their journey with love, enthusiasm, and cheer.
