LCS holds Parent Teacher Interactive Sessions 2022

The Parent-Teacher Interactive Session is a forum for teachers and parents to work in collaboration for the holistic development of the students and the school community. Lourdes Central School held a series of Parent-Teacher Interactive Sessions for KG to Class 12 from 4 June 2022 to 10 June 2022 in the school AV room in two batches one at 8:30 a.m. and the other at 9:30 a.m.
The sessions were organised by the Principal, Rev Fr Robert Dsouza. Ms Anita Thomas, the Vice Principal briefed the parents about the school rules and regulations. She stressed on discipline, punctuality, uniform code and anti-bullying. Ms Gretta Menezes, Exam Cell Coordinator-Secondary Section , Ms Roshni Jose, Coordinator Senior Secondary Section and Ms Sunitha, Coordinator- Primary Section acquainted the parents with the academic assessment both scholastics and co-scholastic for the year 2022-23. They apprised about the CBSE guidelines regarding the examination policy. All class teachers and subject teachers were present for the meeting. Election for the parent representative was conducted for all classes.
Rev Fr Robert D’Souza, the Principal addressed the gathering appreciating parents for expressing positive views about school and answered all the queries. He requested parents to make their ward responsible and disciplined. He urged the parents to encourage children to be punctual and not to compromise with academics. He motivated parents to make their children independent and self-reliant. The Principal also urged the parents to encourage their wards to prepare and appear for UPSC exams in the future.
Parents in the meeting appreciated the work put in by the school management and the staff. There were positive suggestions given too for the smooth conduct of the teaching-learning process. The sessions concluded with the vote of thanks.
