Introducing a Nurturing Space at Lourdes Central School

Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School, Mangaluru, marked a significant milestone on June 10, 2025, with the auspicious inauguration of its pioneering Day Care Center under the Kindergarten section — a space founded on the belief that “The best way to make children good is to make them happy.”

The ceremony began with a warm welcome address by Mrs. Linette Pereira, Academic Coordinator of the Kindergarten section, setting a joyful and enthusiastic tone for the day.

The highlight of the event was the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, graciously performed by the esteemed guests: Fr. John Baptist Saldanha, Manager of Lourdes Central School; Principal Rev. Fr. Johnson L. Sequeira; Fr. Arul Joseph; Mr. Ashok Pinto, Vice-President of the Bejai Parish Pastoral Parishad; Mrs. Devina, Day Care Incharge; along with the bright young learners of the Kindergarten and Nursery sections.

This was followed by a meaningful prayer service and the solemn blessing of the Day Care Center, invoking divine guidance and protection for the children and staff.

A delightful photo session with the little stars of the Day Care captured the excitement and joy that radiated from their faces, marking memories of a very special day.

In his address, the Manager congratulated the Principal and staff on this new venture, assuring them of his continuous support and blessings.

As the inaugural celebration came to a close, it was heartening to see the young children happily settling into their new environment — a nurturing space designed for their comfort, growth, and well-being.
