International Yoga Day Celebration by Department of Yoga and Naturopathy of FMHMC
Mangaluru: The Department of Yoga and Naturopathy of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College in association with the NSS unit observed International Yoga day on 21.06.2020. The theme selected was “Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family”.
Dr Havyshree, In-charge, Yoga & Naturopathy department, conducted a live Yoga session on Zoom platform at 8.00 AM. She guided the participants to do various asanas for a period of 45 minutes. The Administrator Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta, Principal Dr Shivaprasad K, Vice Principal Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran, other faculty members of the College and the Father Muller Charitable Institutions along with their respective family members were actively involved in this yoga session.
A similar session was conducted the next day for the students of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College. The NSS volunteers along with the students of FMHMC participated in this meaningful event. Dr Sebastian P A, NSS coordinator organised the programme.
