Holy Redeemer English Medium School Students celebrate Children’s Day in Daya Special School
Belthangady: Holy Redeemer English Medium School students celebrated Children’s Day with specially abled children of Daya Special School in Belthangady on November 14.
All children are God’s gift. Some are blessed with abilities, while others have disabilities.
High school students spent quality time with the specially abled children and made the day meaningful.
Rev. Fr Vinod D’Souza, Director of Daya Special School, welcomed everyone and introduced Daya School and its functioning. Specially disabled, talented children sang a beautiful prayer song.

The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Members on dais paid floral tribute to the portrait of Chacha Nehru. The joy of the celebration was doubled by cutting the cake. Students performed dances and sang to entertain the children.
Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto addressed the students to be thankful to God for all the gifts of talents, abilities, and facilities they have.
Students interacted with the specially abled children with love and concern. Students expressed their thoughts on understanding and realizing the abilities and blessings they possess. Teacher Pallavi and Mrs Merin compered the event.
As a token of love, Holy Redeemer students collected grocery, sanitary, and stationery items and handed them over to the Daya special school children, making the day momentous.
